16th century. You are the head of one of the 4 most respected and powerful noble families in Venice. You must use your power to maintain your family's influence and power in the Great Council. The future Doge must be in your favour! Use every trick in the book and reach the highest levels to rule the Republic of Venice! Waltz of the Masks is a card game of actions, placements and combinations. Objective of the game : The main objective is to have the most influence points, and therefore usually the most "revealed" cards in the highest position, before the end of the game. The higher a "revealed" card is, the more influence value it has for the final count. Thematically, a high card is an advisor who influences the upper echelons of the city. Players play cards in rows and push cards from the bottom row to the top. Cards can be played face up to perform card effects or face down to hide these effects until they come into force later in the game. Players cannot play the same card as the previous player, or the same card as the last player of the previous turn if you are the first player of the turn. Prelaunch Page
